"Floating Bed" designed by Janjaap Ruijssenaars- Magnets placed in the bed push away from magnets placed beneath the floor, causing the bed to “float” in the air. This million dollar idea meets it's cost. This magnetic bed was named as one of TIME Magazine's Best Inventions of 2006
$1.6 Million USD
i would buy it. looks fun.
ReplyDeletejump jump jump
ReplyDeleteits not magnetic there are wires on the sides
ReplyDeletePotentially dangerous/hilarious were one to roll of the edge of it
ReplyDeleteIt's still magnetic even though there are wires you idiot. The wires have to be there otherwise when you push on the bed you would knock it out of the field and it would come crashing down onto the floor.
ReplyDelete@Brett, do you really think those wires would hold the bed up (& the people on it)? Obviously, it is magnetic.. dumbass.
ReplyDeletethe wires are only to keep the bed from rolling of to the sides. so you know, the wires are tethered to the bottom, not the ceiling, so they cannot hold the bed up.
ReplyDeletelols brett you fail
ReplyDeletethis looks fake but i would want it!
ReplyDeleteI want one....Only if it wasn't that much money.... :)
ReplyDeletei would love to fucking bang on that bed !!
ReplyDeleteLol, I'd love a bed like that!!
ReplyDeleteBut... i think i would keep triping over the wires holding it in place xD
the wires r there to keep it in place
ReplyDeletelol, i want that... also, @ Brett... wires like that would fall themselves. They just hold the bed in place.
ReplyDeleteimagine the jumping capabilites... it would be like 100 times better than a spring mattres
ReplyDeletethat loooks really uncomfortable....
ReplyDeletein the future, that will be really cheap :)
ReplyDeletelol, try sleeping on it with a pacemaker :P
ReplyDeletethe wires are just there so it won't move around.
ReplyDeletethey should put another comfy mattress on top so you wouldn't have to sleep on a big magnet
ReplyDeleteLOL brett you fail
