  2. wow that's really messed up. there are no words right now to describe how horrified and disgusted i am. what another great display of corporate greed and corruption. unfortunately it seems that you hear more of these stories daily. huge corporations wanting to take a couple quick shortcuts for a couple extra dollars in their pockets. these people are sick no matter what way you look at it. medicine is one thing (although i must say i still have my issues with that..) but for such trivial things as candy and hair products? no. that is undoubtedly wrong. there are "laws" and "animal protection and animal testing acts" but very rarely are they ever followed. especially when it's a major corporation like the mars bar. why? simple, money. it's been the root and foundation of everything now. that's not the point though. the point is that if these "people" can really do such heinous things to defenseless creatures that have done nothing to them what else are they capable of? it's a proven statistic that numerous amounts of murders tortured, mutilated and killed animals before they turned to killing people. yet even knowing this disturbing fact little is done about it. the said person gets a slap on the wrist by our "justice system". well our justice system is a joke, it's pathetic. why the government allows people like these to walk around among us is beyond me. i think to myself, are we really that stupid? do we really not realize what we're doing? i don't think we do. deep down we know what should be done but we are too afraid to say it. i'm not though, people who do that for a living, can look themselves in the mirror each and every morning, who don't feel any emotion or compassion at all for the lives they took don't deserve to be among us. to actually do something as horrendous as that deserve to die. yes, i said it. someone had to, it was only a matter of time. do i feel bad? honestly no because in my heart i know it to be the truth. it sounds harsh, i know. that's what we were raised to believe after all but it's not how we feel, is it? it's not how we feel when someone we love is murdered. it's not how we feel when we've been raped, when we've had our home taken from us, abused and/or mutilated. that's how they feel. animals are living things just like you and me. yeah, go ahead and call me a hippie, i don't care. it's the truth, animals have lived on this planet as long as we have, longer in fact. we tore apart their homes to make ours. we made countless animals either extinct or endangered for our gain. that's bad enough but now we have to add animal abuse and cruelty to the list? when will it stop? i know during this whole rant i've voiced many controversial opinions but it needed to be done. animals have as much rights to this planet and to a good life as much as we do. if you have a heart and soul you would understand how i feel. i'm just a child really, 17 years old, growing up in this crazy world, i say many things and wish to change many things but i don't do anything about it. i think "oh that's horrible, that guy should be locked away for life" but have i ever actually done anything about it? no. never have i publicly voiced my opinion. it's our right in this country to voice our opinions yet we never really do. all i'm going to say is that after watching this video and now that i know the truth about this i will not be purchasing any of this companies products, i don't know about you guys but knowing what i now know i couldn't purchase any of those things. not with a clear conscience.

  3. well it looks like another exposure of the corruption and greed of some big corporation taking a shortcut to save a couple extra dollars. what amazes me the most about the whole thing is that those "people" could actually do that to animals. animals are just the same as us. sure they may not be "civilized" like we are or as "intelligent" as we are but they are still living things. they feel pain just like we do, they feel suffering just like you and i do. they are just like us with a few exceptions. they weren't the ones who destroyed our homes, they weren't the ones who kill us for money or for a soup. no. they've done nothing to us but our race has done plenty to them. i will keep this brief. to make a long story short, in the end, what's more important to you, a couple extra dollars or a life?

  4. because of this format i had to be very brief, if you are at all interested in hearing more opinions of myself and the group i'm planning on creating this morning you can contact me at nitemari@hotmail.com i think it's time to finally take a stand, not just for the animals but for all the injustices that we've been facing these past couple of years, i for one am finished with just sitting back and complaining about how horrible things are and not actually doing anything about it.

  5. Testing on all species (including humans) has been going on for millions of years, we test ourselves and animals, but also the planet tests us, we have been harmed by more than a needle, but by catastrophic events which is mother natures way of testing our strength and capability to handle pain and suffering. As in this video, tests are done to show results, whether accurate or not, and these tests which are human, animal and mother nature conducted will be around for many more years to come as they have been around for so many years in the past. Many of the products we use everyday have had to be tested on some living thing to know that it is safe for us. Complaining that we are hurting the animals to tests products that we use is stupid because if we did not test it on animals we would be testing it on humans, and society rates humans above animals. In the bible it says that God put animals on the humans have dominant rule for animals and that they are here for us, and though i do not think that cruelty to animals was meant by what the bible said, times have changed in the thousands of years that have past. Modern day life is evolving much quicker than ever before, and the need for more and more products will be around for a long time, so testing will be required to make better products. Also, Mars funding these tests, the tests that are used to help us, has nothing to do with the chocolate bars they make, it's not like they are putting dead animal in the bars, and I do not think that when you go out to buy candy and you see a Mars bar, that your thinking about the company behind the bars and what they do other than produce delicious chocolate bars? No, you buy a chocolate bar because of its taste which in Mars' case is great. So even though testing on animals is wrong, it is even worse to test on humans, a race of beings that are dominant on the earth that was given to us by God, and who were made as dominant species.
